S.O. - S.O. Relationship

What is a SO-SO Relationship?
The term S.O comes from Significant Other - the person you consider significant or special but not really in a relationship with him.... he can either be a friend, office mate, classmate or merely an acquaintance.

How do we know that we are in a SO - SO relationship?
That's when you start to develop feelings for someone and you think he feels the same way.

How different is MU with SO-SO relationship?
With MU or pseudo relationship you tend to have common agreements on certain things and you are always seen together. The chemistry between the two of you is obviously seen. Unlike with a SO-SO relationship. Everything is unclear and yet you believe that there is. When MU or pseudo is a potential girlfriend/boyfriend status. The SO-SO relationship always ends up in a so and so status and rarely ends up on a gf/bf status.

How to succeed in a SO-SO relationship?
Honesty and openness is always the key to start a healthy relationship. First you have to admit to him that you like or love him. Then wait if he affirms he likes or loves you back, that will be the start of your mutual understanding stage. Some relationship succeed and some don't. But the strong foundation of a lasting relationship is to trust and love your partner. Once you meet someone who will love you at your worst, never let him go. Because if he sticks with you even at your worst he will stick with you no matter what, unless one of you give up.

And if you are in a SO - SO relationship... it is always better to tell the person about your feelings for him than be left in a limbo for the rest of your life... The soonest you relieve yourself from "what ifs" more chances for you to move on and live a happier life.

And if the person you like is in a relationship with someone else, you can still try maybe it will work for you maybe it won't. But always remember if he cheats with you (he cheats on his gf with you), 90 percent chances are he will do the same thing to you.

Think about it... Be smart and be rational...

I wish you the best... and Goodluck! ^_^
