The Walk

I have always love Yiruma pieces but I think the most memorable piece for me would be the music he was playing while I was walking in my most beautiful white dress.

"A River Flows In You"
by Yiruma
Lyrics Translation in English

There's a road inside your heart made just for you
Don't be scared take your first step and then take two
Pain will come but I believe you can endure
Further down that road just trust a little more

Holding you, holding you
It's in you
River flows in you
Slow it down, slow it down
That river flows inside me too
Holding you, holding you
It's in you
River flows in you
Waiting now, waiting now
Just be strong
You will make it through

If you let me I will give my heart to you
So that I can feel you what else can I do
Can you hold on just a little longer still
In your heart if you believe it then you will

Holding you, holding you
It's in you
River flows in you
Slow it down, slow it down
That river flows inside me too
Holding you, holding you
It's in you
River flows in you
Waiting now, waiting now
Just be strong
You will make it through

Holding you, holding you
It's in you
River flows in you
Slow it down, slow it down
That river flows inside me too
Holding you, holding you
It's in you
River flows in you
Waiting now, waiting now
Just be strong
You will make it through

Holding you, holding you
It's in you
River flows in you
Slow it down, slow it down
That river flows inside me too
Holding you, holding you
It's in you
River flows in you
Waiting now, waiting now
Just be strong
You will make it through

"Passion of Love"

A love built by sparks and fire,
Is quite dangerous in the end.
Too little it may die,
Too much of it can crash and burn.

A love formed by passion,
last longer than it should.
For we live by the desire of it.
To have the passion is to live.

Living is the passion of loving.
One and the other coexist.
Without either of the two,
Its impossible to live.

"Turning Pages"

As I begin a new chapter in my life,
I have decided to write and start afresh.
The past is behind me now and I'm moving on.
As the blank pages follows through,
I am hopeful for new wonderful journey.
Because I have chosen to be,
To be at peace, and not in pieces.

I am not closing previous chapters,
I am simply turning the pages.

.......Mhelai

"Turning Page" by Sleeping At Last
Cover Version of Ciara Catalla
(I just love her rendition of this song)

.."Turning Page"

I’ve waited a hundred years
But I’d wait a million more for you
Nothing prepared me for
What the privilege of being yours would do

If I had only felt the warmth within your touch
If I had only seen how you smile when you blush
Or how you curl your lip when you concentrate enough
Well I would have known
What I was living for all along
What I’ve been living for

Your love is my turning page
Where only the sweetest words remain
Every kiss is a cursive line
Every touch is a redefining phrase

I surrender who I’ve been for who you are
For nothing makes me stronger than your fragile heart
If I had only felt how it feels to be yours
Well I would have known
What I’ve been living for all along
What I’ve been living for

Though we’re tethered to the story we must tell
When I saw you, well I knew we’d tell it well
With a whisper we will tame the vicious seas
Like a feather bringing kingdoms to their knees

..... I so love her rendition of this song.... ^_^

Stuck in love

Doing the Sunday shift tonight in the office, couldn't be more exciting knowing there's only two people including me to work on a Sunday Night. Mostly my Sundays were spent chatting with friends, bonding with my family, going to church or just a regular talk with a good friend. It was a routine to end the day going to bed but today is an exception. This is not about complaining of coming to work on a Sunday Night but for a fact since not much thing to do I was able to watch a such spectacular movie to make the night more meaningful. A tear jerker atleast for me; It was about the wife's broken promise and the husband keeping his. A daughter wounded love for her mother, and a son finding his writing skills in a journey of his youth. Nevertheless the story practically evolve focusing on the family how one find each love, passion and journey by getting "stuck in love". Its really heart warming, emotionally striking for someone who once in their lifetime got bitten by the same love tragedy. But this movie portrayed how inviolable love should be, knowing that even in the most distressing situation. People can get lost but the most important thing is to welcome them back, when they finally find their way home. I like what Stephen King said:

"The most important thing is
The hardest to say"
~ Stephen King ~

Watching the movie, taught me that loving a person doesn't always mean staying in love with them when love is reciprocated but get stuck in love. Knowing that if they once choose to wait for you, they will always come back. "Hate the sin, but not the sinner". To keep the commitment you once made even if one choose to let go. Loving needs to be unconditional, which distinct it from merely concerning or longing. To love is to give, without receiving. To be "stuck in love" is just simply loving despite anything. You just choose to care, understand and to keep loving nothing less.

I Won't Love You Any Less

If you make me stay outside
For a glance that lasts the night,
If you put me in distress,
I won't love you any less.
I won't love you any less.

If you twist my fragile heart,
And it breaks into pieces in the dark,
If you leave a dangerous mess,
I won't love you any less.
I won't love you any less.

If I try to hold your hand,
If I try to make you bend,
If you start callin' me obsessed,
I won't love you any less.
I won't love you any less.

Sha la la la la la la la la la la la,
Sha la la la la la la la la la la laaa,
Sha la la la.

When I'm old and grey,
I've got no wings but you've flown away,
You've put me at quite a test,
But I won't love you any less.
No, I won't love you any less.

Butterfly

Butterfly

Walking on a way home,
Walking on the same path.
A road of sunny and gay,
Now gloomy and sad.

I must have slept and miss my stop,
but I was wide awake  with it on my lap.
A radiant glow on my face,
Which lost after may day.

Pleasures of once knowing,
Binds my heart that is burning.
How can a butterfly hurts?
And stings in my hands.

I never believe what was said,
cause' I know better than plead.
There's more to love than to brag,
In the end, it will all come out.

In the garden, to see.
Butterfly flies so free.
To choose where to go.
To choose where to be.

....I couldn't came up with a better introduction for this poem I just created but it's just one of those randomness days that I can create poems such as this. I have never known such feeling of wanting to be in the same moment but different time. Wherein you can possibly do whatever you can so freely like a butterfly....

I leave you with a song I had on my background while writing this poem,

Bangon Pilipinas

It's heart breaking the situation in Tacloban, dead people everywhere but left unburied. Hungry survivors with no shelter to sleep. Bruised children wearing dirty clothes and no slippers on their feet. It's too painful to watch news lately and words are not even enough to express such sorrow and tragedy. Although its amazing how people all over different countries reach their helping hands towards the Philippines and thankful to all the kind souls who donated, extend their prayers and even came here to take part and volunteer. From the bottom of my Pinoy Heart;

"Maraming maraming salamat po"
which means "Thank you, very much" .

Many of you might also feel that our government could have done better and I couldn't agree more but no one is to blame. Nobody wants what had happened in Tacloban. But our country was not prepared for such hulking calamity. I think being among the third world country, this is what you could expect but this does not mean we are not improving. I am deeply saddened by the recent news and I'm compelled to urge the government to realize Yolanda came for a purpose although devastating that the lives of many had to suffer. There is still hope for the Philippine government and I believe "Babangon ang Pilipinas". For the President, "CHANGE is POSSIBLE". A more HONEST and LOVING SERVICE among the Filipinos disregard past conflicts and work for the common good. Focus on the "real issue" and not political gain. Learning from these experiences is good but people need action for such crisis. If the nation's ordinary people can measure great ways to implement rescue and emergency management the government must know it all at first hand. Officials can learn a lot from volunteers, giving without asking, ready and so eager to be use for the sole purpose of helping the needy even if the only thing they can take home is "JOY" of knowing even for a minute they have serve their purpose to make this nation a better place and for us its more than enough.

Here a video of Tacloban then and now...
